About The Beading Factory

So, I suppose "Factory" is really a bit of an overstatement.  It’s really just me (and occasionally another beading friend or two) making jewelry for you.  I’ve been working with semi-precious gemstone beads for over 15 years now.  I find working with and wearing the natural stones in bead form to be soothing, almost meditative and frankly a bit addictive!  I’ve shared my designs and love of stones of the earth with hundreds of people through the years at art shows, craft shows and through word of mouth.  Now we have the internet! 

So here I go, leaping into the 21^st Century with a craft that is thousands of years old.  I sure hope this works!  If I can bring just a little bit of color and beauty into your life and counteract - even in a small way - some of the stress and pain of this world of ours, then I will consider this project a success.  Thank you for visiting my site.  I hope you enjoy your beading journey

The idea behind this site is to give YOU the power to create your own jewelry.  While I wish we could offer unlimited selections, for practicality’s sake I’ve set some guidelines based on my experience working with customers.  I hope we’ve offered sufficient choices to keep most everyone happy and em-bead-ened for many years to come!  And I’m always happy to hear your ideas. 

Please remember that I do get quite busy at times, so custom pieces beyond the standard parameters may take a bit longer than the usual Design Your Own – The Classics turnaround time of 7 days.  And if the Classics aren’t to your taste, please checkout the Limited Editions page and – COMING SOON!! – The Featured Artist page!
